Building Green is the future for our environment and health. As builders we are using products that are Energy Efficient from roofs, walls, floors to appliances.
Energy efficient Roofs: We build with Metal Roofs that are classified as “Cool Color Metal Roofs. In Green Building we use products that are designed and manufactured to deliver “Green” sustainable performance in order to meet all building codes and to deliver the utmost in energy conservation. The metal roofing can help reduce energy consumption by lowering cooling loads. The reflective materials used in our roofs can help save up to 40% in heating and cooling energy costs, as reported by Oak Ridge National Laboratory. All of our cool color roofs meet Energy Star solar reflectivity criteria for steep slope roofs. Our Metal Roofing materials are 100% recyclable and we offer a large verity of color choices.
We also offer the Rainwater Harvesting by using Metal Roofing and Rainwater Collection Gutters, Fiberglass and Polypropylene tanks with UV light sanitation systems for drinkable water. If you have a roof area of 2400 square feet and a yearly rainfall of about 32 inches, you can collect almost 45,000 gallons of rainwater in a typical year according to the Austin Energy Corp. February 2007.
Energy Efficient Walls: We build our Green homes with Insulated Concrete Form, also known as ICF. ICF is made of cement and 100% recycled polystyrene (EPS), our unitary stay-in-place forms create a post-and-beam grid that is extremely energy efficient, durable, and strong. It is one of the most innovative building materials available today.

We use a spray foam insulation, which is an Icynene product instead of fiberglass insulation.
The Icynene spray foam insulation creates a Healthier home for you family a Quieter home shielded from inside and outside noise and More Energy Efficient for a lifetime of savings.
It has long been recommended for individuals who are Chemically sensitive. It contains no formaldehyde and does not emit any detectable emissions after you move into your new home. Icynene’s foam technology for expansion is water based. Improving indoor air quality is a goal of many new home buyers, especially for those suffering from allergies, asthma or other respiratory problems. Icynene offers the ability to completely seal the building envelope. By eliminating random air leakage, the penetration of dust, allergens and pollutants can be significantly reduced. It allows you to develop a controlled indoor environment so you can design your heating and cooling equipment to maximize air quality.
Energy Efficient Flooring: We with all types of flooring to reduce your energy bills and is environmentally better, such as Natural Cork Flooring, which does not kill the tree to harvest it, it is classified as the Ultimate Natural Flooring because it is 100% renewable resource harvested as bark from living cork oak trees and is Naturally hypo-allergenic, anti-microbial and anti-fungal, and is easier on your legs for standing and walking on.

Bamboo is another good source of Flooring Materials. Bamboo matures in 5 to 7 years. We use Appliances that are Energy Star rated which “use less energy and save money.
Gas Tank less Hot Water Heaters, give you instant hot water on demand or according to use, as opposed to the continual heating of large tanks of water that aren’t’ being used. Solar Technology developments emerge ever day, boosting efficiency and bringing energy costs down.
Skylights can be installed to provided natural lighting and Solar Tubes which are tubes that are installed from the roof to the interior ceiling, which provide natural lighting all day through its reflective tube, and uses and regular light bulb for the dark evenings. This saves energy and provides a “Healthier Natural Light’.
We also build Homes for Our Clients that really love the Out of
Doors with Outdoor Fully Screened Sleeping Quarters and Fully Functioning Outdoor Kitchens, which are fun and will not heat up your house during the hot summer months.
We enjoy building Homes that are partially or fully classified as “Green”. We are continually researching the internet, books and attending Educational Seminars or Green Building Fares and Classes to find new and more effective ways to build Healthier homes for our Clients. We know that we are doing the best we can to preserve our Environment and to provide a Safe, Healthy, and affordable place to live in.
